Digital Same-Day Dentistry
Experience Modern Digital Dentistry
At Folsom Valley Oaks Dental Group, we use the Dentsply Sirona Primescan® digital intraoral scanner, one of the most advanced scanning systems available today. Instead of uncomfortable traditional impression material, we create an incredibly detailed 3D digital model of your teeth in just minutes. The scan is highly accurate and allows us to design restorations with exceptional precision while improving your overall comfort during treatment. Digital scanning also reduces the need for remakes and helps ensure a precise fit. Studies and manufacturer data have shown that modern intraoral scanning provides excellent accuracy while offering a more comfortable experience for patients than traditional impressions.

Primescan Digital Scanner & Same-Day Crowns
Same-Day Crowns with Digital CAD/CAM Technology
Once your digital scan is complete, your custom restoration is designed using advanced CAD/CAM software and fabricated right here in our office using our in-house milling machine. The restoration is then strengthened and finished in our high-temperature ceramic furnace before it is bonded to your tooth. This digital workflow allows many patients to receive a beautiful custom ceramic crown in just one appointment, eliminating the need for messy impressions, temporary crowns, and a second visit in many cases.
